She graduated from Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology in 1998, became a Veterinary Technician Specialist (VTS) in Anesthesia and Analgesia in 2004, and a VTS in Neurology in 2011. She remains an active member of both organizations and is devoted to continual learning. Outside of work, Lori enjoys golfing, gardening, and spoiling her dog, Ky-Mani.
