Full time Client Service Representative position available at a busy veterinary practice in Golden. The Client Service Representative is often the first person a client meets upon entering or contacting our hospital. This creates a tremendous responsibility to provide the first, and very best impression of the services and quality veterinary care we can provide. In addition to anticipating and responding to the needs of clients, patients, doctors and nurses the CSR is responsible for: Answering phones and providing information on services, scheduling appointments and taking messages for the veterinary team. Welcoming clients, checking in patients, rooming clients, and announcing appointments. Checking out patients after services are received and processing payments. Patient follow up and reminders, including electronic messaging Keeping reception area neat and ready for clients, and maintaining organization of the front office area. Closing books and office at end of the day. Performing other duties as assigned to support the operation of the hospital. Qualifications: Veterinary office experience preferred. Knowledge of avian and exotics a plus. High School Diploma or equivalent. Proficiency in computer skills including some veterinary software, MS Word and basic knowledge of MS Excel. Creative problem solving skills. Strong communication skills, verbal and written. Excellent phone skills Ability to interact well with clients and other veterinary team members. Ability to lift 30-40 pounds without assistance. Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible with the changing events in a veterinary hospital setting. Must have reliable transportation.
