Southgate Veterinary Hospital in Fargo, ND, is searching for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our AAHA-Accredited team!

Our ideal candidate is an LVT with hands-on experience, however, we’re also open to training new graduates who are actively pursuing their license in North Dakota. We are looking for full time, but open to part time. More importantly, we’re looking for compassionate team players who will mesh nicely with our team and lead with integrity, empathy, and adaptability.

Primary responsibilities and experience:

• Anesthetic induction and monitoring
• Dentistry – prophy and radiographs
• Surgical assistance
• Patient handling and restraint
• Venipuncture – blood draws and IVC placement
• Medication administration
• Pharmacy duties and lab work
• Client communication and education
• Assisting throughout the hospital as needed (cleaning, front desk, phones, etc.)
• Monitoring hospital flow (scheduling, training, etc.)

Benefits and compensation:

• Compensation: $20-$23/hour BOE
• Bonus package: $2,000
• LVT CE allowance: $500 the first year and $1,000 annually thereafter
• Schedule: 4-10s or 5-8s with weekends off, we are flexible based on preference and needs
