Accreditation Groups:

Bel-Rea Institute of Animal Technology is fully accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). 

The AVMA accreditation qualifies graduates to take any exams for credentialing as a veterinary technician in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Bel-Rea was awarded a "School of Excellence Award" in 2007-2008 and a "School of Distinction Award" in 2002 from the ACCSC.  These awards are presented to schools that have demonstrated an exceptional commitment to delivering quality education programs, have been successful in meeting and exceeding the expectations and criteria of the ACCSC, and have high levels of student success.

Veteran's Training & Department of Rehabilitation:

The veterinary technology program at Bel-Rea is also recognized for training and student financial assistance by the Department of Rehabilitation, is approved for veteran's training by the Colorado State Approving Agency for Veteran's Education and Training, and participates in all of the Department of Veteran's Affairs education benefits programs.

Higher Education Groups & International Students:

Bel-Rea Institute is approved by the Colorado Department of Higher Education and the U.S. Department of Higher Education, and is authorized to enroll non-immigrant alien students.
